El Larson studied and practiced holistic healing modalities for over 20 years before seeking to apply principles of balance and well-being to public space and the built environment. She spent several years working at an architecture firm to understand the design process while studying several wellness building practices.

While her practice is centered around fundamental Feng Shui principles and biophilic design, she often recommends current material health and wellness building standards to support well-being throughout a building.

El is certified in Feng Shui, and accredited in the WELL and Fitwel building standards.
